B22 or E27/Suggestions for high lumen LEDs?

What connection type should I buy for bulbs that might be used in a new house? I'm renting atm and I was thinking of getting high lumen LED bulbs but to bring them with me to a new build in a few years. It looks like E27 is more popular, is that the case for new builds?

Also is V-TAC the only high lumen (1500+) LED bulb manufacturer? Phillips seems to top out there, I see V-TAC go up to 3400 (very heavy bulbs though, 700g), I'd love to try those out but they are too heavy for a E27 to B22 converter.
