Shimano BB Tool Adapter

Where can I get an adapter for the tool to remove an Ultegra BBR60? The adapter that came with the Ultegra is fcuked - the grippy bits are stripped.

I have a Dura Ace BB and adapter but it's 1mm smaller and won't talk to the Ultegra BB.

I've tried a few local LBS but no joy. Ordering online is pointless as the shipping charges make it uneconomical so I'll need to get it from a bricks and mortar shop.

TLDR - I need one of these:

Yep - so did I. But I bought a Dura Ace BB to replace the Ultegra. The Dura Ace is 24mm and the Ultegra is 25mm so I'm stuck for the adapter to remove the Ultegra.

Where are you based ? I am after buying an ultegra bb today from CR so I assume it's in the box with it but I not fitting it until next week. No chance you are in Galway / ATHLONE ?

Balls. I was in Athlone yesterday.

But bear in mind that these adapters are plastic so don't last forever and can easily get damaged if they slip.

Fit your Ultegra BB, then, if you like, I'll buy the adapter from you or I'll rent/borrow it. Remember that you'll need it to remove the BB in the future so you may want to keep it.

PM me once you've fitted the BB.

Swords should be fine. Will be passing tomorrow if that suits.
