    Hi all,
Recently my car has developed a 'crunch' type noise from the front suspension when going over speed bumps. I'm wondering if this is something that should be fixed urgently, or safely ignored for a few months.
Does anyone have a decent garage they could recommend in the D3/D5 area that could sort out my problem?
    Thanks in advance!

Do you really think someone can tell you on the internet that its safe to be ignored for a few months with any reliability? With no other information than whats in your post?
You need a garage at least to have a look at it.

Definitely get it checked out. There's no such thing as safely ignoring noises in motoring ( personal experience).

Could be a broken spring, in which case I wouldn't drive on it as the sharp-end of the spring could be touching the tyre wall. Tyre damage like the attached is not uncommon with broken springs being left to fester:

The noise will probably be wear or failure in the suspension somewhere.

    Best not to ignore that.
