Door locks jumping?

My door locks on the c/l jump and down maybe 5 times fast when I try open the car. They stick on closed too. The passenger side works slower though so I can open it and get in that way. Once I pull up the driver side it stays up. It went up two or three times, I sprayed oil in thinking that would help but it made it worse, went up and down faster and more times.
    Any ideas beside auto electrician?

Lock is on it's way out. What type of car is it? Better to get replaced before it deadlocks in a closed position and is a pain to get open to repair!

Opel Corsa 2000, starting to think it is time for a new car. Few bits going on it. Maybe not worth doing.

I did think this more the case, it's going up and down dine, like water in the system or something.

I added the oil and made it worse which I'm guessing makes sense if it is a poor earth?
