Unsure if this is the correct place to post but it's the closest I could find.. Please move if necessary.

A Chilean friend is currently staying with me on a holiday visit. They have been here since Dec 18th and were due to return on Jan 14th. They have a stamp in their passport allowing them to stay until Jan 16th. They work for an airline so can return at their convenience. Is it possible to extend this by a week or two? They would prefer not to have any problems when returning to Spain or Ireland in future.

*Chileans don't require any special Visa to visit here. They just present themselves at Madrid and then Dublin airport and are questioned about their stay and given a short term visa stamped in their passport. Similar to the US but my experience in the US is they have given me 3 months regardless of how long I'll be there.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, Gerard.

They wish to stay less than 60 days in total.
