Noticed a scratch(pictures provided) on my car the other day, think somebody could have been messing around with a trolley in my estate.

I was wondering has anyone ever used the Halfords Scratch & Chip Repair Kit or do you think I would need a professional job done on it?

Have heard issues with Halfords paints not matching very well - best to get something made up in your local motor factors.

Do you think I would be able to do an adequate job myself or should I leave it to the professionals?

one of the scratches look very deep , Most detailers go by the general rule that if you run your finger over a scratch and it stops, it’s likely too deep just to buff out and you may need to take your vehicle to a body shop for repair. In a case where your finger may feel the scratch but still glides over it, auto detailers can generally fix it with a rubbing compound .

what make/model is your car ? Your OEM paint color code Identification can be found written (or on a printed sticker) in your owner’s manual or on a factory sticker in the engine bay most of the time , if you get the colour code im sure a motor factors could make/order a touch up pen which would be much better :)
