Adults injured in a motor accident have a time limit to lodge a claim with the PIAB.

What is the position with minors ? Obviously, a minor can present a claim through the next friend straight away.

However, do minors remain under a legal disability until attaining majority at 18 ? I am trying to nail down this point but can't quite find the law on it.

Minors are under a disability until they reach the age of majority, per s.48 of the Statute of Limitations 1957, as amended.
