The only allowance available to registered customers is the childhood allowance. When a child under 17 is registered at the property, the childhood allowance of 21,000 litres will appear on the bill if you are metered or will be automatically included into an unmetered charge.

If you are concerned about your water consumption, please see here for water conservation tips which can be used around the house.

I hope you find this information helpful.

    Kind regards,
    Niall

    okay,
have just seen a recent bill:
    41 cubic m out
    41 cubic m in
    So two questions:
    as they have 3 kids under 17 is the 63 (3 * 21) against 82 or 41
have u indicative usage numbers  for what a family of 2 plus 3 should be at?
    Thanks

    Hi Calahonda52,

The children's water allowance is set at 21,000 litres per service (Water in and Water out) per child. In this case if you have both services i.e. public mains and public sewer, you are entitled to a combined 42,000 litres per child under the age of 18 permanently resident at the property.

According to current estimates each person consumes approximately 150 litres of water per day.

    I hope this information helps,

    Kind regards,
    Aaron
