It's not a job that you would be able to do if you are full time employed as it is.

I did it 10 years ago when I was in full-time employment as needed the extra cash. You do earn every penny though.

From my experience the vast majority of people who did it last time around were in full time employment, which was annoying as we were right in the middle of the recession then.

I did it the last time around as well while fully employed, it's all mainly evening work so it is grand doing the two jobs, everyone else seemed to already have a job as well.

I did it last time and enjoyed it. It was warm and bright which made working late easy.

I had planned doing it again this year but it looks like 15,000 people got in there ahead of me....you'd think they would have shown me some consideration and held of applying until I did ;)

Does anyone know what the situation if you receive unemployment benefits and you get the job.The enumerator work is 22 hours a week, but mainly evenings and weekends, hence we are still available to take up other employment and to search for work?
    Thanks

You would be put on the x's and o's I would assume, which goes by days worked not hours, so if you're single and take up the job and work more than 3 days a week, you will not receive any dole money.

As far as I know everyone has now been contacted by their Supervisors and are having their boxes delivered. Training starts on 21st March. There may be a few left still to do but judging by the other thread majority are on board now.
