White oak planks

    Hi

    I am looking for planks of white oak to make into furniture as a hobbie.
    I am based in the Limerick area.
    Would anybody know where it is possible to source white oak planks in this area.
    Preferably planned.

    Almost all the builders suppliers will sell you American white oak but it will be in the 'rough' - unplaned.
    You are not too far from JP Corry in Cahir who have a great selection of hardwoods but Chadwicks in Limerick will almost certainly have it.

    go down to mcmahons in the dock road in limerick,they have any amount of kiln dried american white oak there.
