As some of you may remember I bought this a couple of months ago.
After a bad start with one, the replacement is excellent.
I have an android box hooked up to it but appaerntly I can install Kodi to the tv as well. I have looked at some youtube videos but the menu looks different.
Does anyone know could I load it via usb stick is similar?
    thanks

It is not an Android TV so you can't install Kodi. Only 43" and above models are Android

Just in case people are in the market for a TV, I recently bought a Sony 43W807C from Tesco UK for £329, and installed it last night.

I have read some reviews slagging off the Android OS, saying it was slow and glitchy.

From a couple of hours use last night, all I can say is WOW.
An amazing TV, with a really slick interface. I haven't even tinkered with the settings yet, but out of the box the quality of the picture is sensational. Before this TV I had a 37" Sony Bravia that was 5yrs old. Its like night and day the difference in quality.

So if you are in the market for a telly, buy the Sony with confidence.

Hi there, I am interested in a full HD 40-42" TV without all the bells and whistles, in other words, with basic functions with a faithful brilliant colour rendition. As a long-time Sony fan, KDL-40W705C caught my eye.

Doing some research on the internet, it appears that this model has pleased quite a lot of people who bought it. Now I would like to ask owners of this TV about:
    - the picture quality
    - any glitches or serious flaws that you may come across
    - mounting it on to a plasterboard wall

Shop demo clips are too well-made and often run in shop demo mode, so I am curious about the picture quality in everyday use. The weight of the unit sounds quite light as a 40" (9kg ca.) Would it be fine to mount on the typical plasterboard wall to the neightbour in a terrace house?

    Thank you for your comments.
