    Hey,

    Would anyone have a used rear 8 speed derailleur,compact chain-set + bb would be great, maybe front derailleur,I have shifters and brakes, I'm just trying to get an old cheap bike put together for a young lad to get him rolling,

    Not looking for anything too good, must be "cheap" ;-)

    I've got a used, but still good, Campy bottom bracket, British threading 1.370 x 24TPI, spindle is 111mm.

    I have an old campag avanti 8spd rear derailleur and a veloce front derailleur, both in good condition. New rollers on rear.
    Also have a Campag wheeleset to match.


    I also have a complete 9spd Veloce groupset. In excellent condition. Only ever seen about 500 miles. Was built on a frame for my wife. She never used it that much.
    Groupset is circa 2003.

    Do you want this 2400 FD I've got for sale? http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057538469. For what it's worth the 3500 Sora rear mech I have for sale also works fine with an 8 speed set up.
