Congratulations to our 2015 winner Rushvalley with his delightfully relaxing photo of two snoozing calves. They certainly wouldn't look as comfy outside today.
He has won himself a €50 voucher for Agridirect so if that is not incentive to enter, I don't know what is

So on to January, with the weather that's in it sure what else could I choose but ''Rivers, Rain & Raging floods''

to the right of the bushes in the middle is the river shannon

the black dot is a gate post, the top bar of the gate (not visable in the pic) is about 4 inches above water

pic was taken earlier to day (8th Jan) & water is at this level or sometimes up to 10 inches higher since about 12th Dec.
