Passat doors won't open

    2006 passat doors wont open at all, only drivers door..

    You mean they won't unlock?
    Will they open with key at all?
    Previous history with locking mechanism?

    Try to add as much info as you can think of, it make it easier for us.

    Had a similar problem with an 11 volvo s60. The mechanic simply re booted the door electrics and it's fine since then. Cost me nowt. I had wondered was it a simple thing like a fuse. Was even mote simples

    I have this problem intermittently on my 08 passat, open drivers window, pull interior handle and outside handle at the same time, close door, repeat a few times, usually does the trick, spray wd40 in around lock mechanism seems to make it stay away longer

    I have the opposite problem (intermittently) with my 2003 Passat i.e. press alarm fob and all doors unlock except driver's door which I then have to open manually using key.

    Not exactly the biggest problem that one can have unless it's pissing rain !

    Could be a wiring fault in the door wiring loom or a dud module, a scan will help you out diagnosing that...

    Could be that... my passat had the CCM module fail, lost the ability to lock.
    It also had 2 door locks fail locked, which was an awful pain in the hole, doubly so as the first one I replaced with an ebay part failed again 6 months later.

    not work on key, one will open from inside other wont, was all ok til 6 weeks ago, some says try ross tech on car
