Help me calculate

    Hi there,
I was wondering if somebody could help me calculate whether I have overpaid tax in this year. I'm looking to request a P21 based on my final payslip. I've been trying to do some calculations myself but I'm not sure if I'm getting the right answers.

    In a nutshell,
My gross taxable pay in 2015: 75,549.00
    Tax paid: 19,992.00
    USC paid: 4,513
    PRSI: 3043

I've filed for P21 in previous years via the PAYE Anytime portal and plan to do so this year too. Based on my calculations, I'd be owed some money back (i may have slightly underpaid USC but overpaid Tax) however some online calculators give me answers that conflict this and that I can't understand.

Any help is really, highly appreciated.

Hope you all had a nice New Year! :)

It really depends on your circumstances. Each persons tax situation is unique to them. Your tax, USC and PRSI should be correct unless you have been in multiple employments during the year.

Did you pay into a pension?

What is your annual cut off for tax?

    What are your tax credits?
