Hey All, I've recently moved to Gort. Trying to suss out if there is a music scene in the South Galway area? I'm aware that the Gallery restaurant hosts sporadic gigs for a Clare based music society. It'd be great to know what's happening, outside of the usual Galway city venues. Also, I'd love to create a 'Guitar Based'…

Also, I'd love to create a 'Guitar Based' folk music society or group. It was something that was started successfully, were I previously lived; a bunch of musicians would meet up every few weeks, and play stuff they'd written or learned. Is there enough musicians in the area, to develop something similar?
