I've a pair of jeans that I love the shape of and they are so comfortable. But unfortunately I don't like the colour/design of them, they came with a overdone wornout design that did not show up on the website shop. Is it possible to cover up these "worn" patches with dye? Thank you

Yes you can dye jeans as they are made from cotton. The colour will probably come out lighter on the 'worn out patches', but if you don't wear them now it is no harm trying it.

You can dye jeans no problem. I've done it countless times when they've faded overtime.

In general, go with a machine dye and get the darkest colour you can. I usually use dylon dyes, in either the jeans blue or navy blue (usually navy as it's a much darker shade and I prefer my jeans as dark navy as possible).

Don't skip any of the steps in the process.

Oh, and if there's decorative stitching or anything it most likely won't take the dye at all. Thread is usually nylon which doesn't take dye at all.
