Hi guys. Just found this guy lurking beside my bins. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks.

Looks like a false widow spider. If it is one best not to mess with it. As it can have a very nasty bite.

It looks like a female Steatoda nobilis, commonly known as a False Widow Spider.
They don't actively bite and contrary to popular belief (and ridiculous media hype!) are no more aggressive than other species of spider we have here in Ireland.
The bite is believed to be less painful than a wasp or bee sting.

They're more common and widespread than you think.
It won't do you any harm and I'd leave it well alone to be honest.

P.S. - I couldn't edit my previous post hence this one!
