This election poster by the Labour party is to remind us that a coalition between Sinn Fein and Fianna Fail would be a bad thing...

Personally I think another dirty tricks campaign is unnecessary, tiresome and brings out the worst (the last presidential election is a good example, talk about a race to the bottom of the barrel) but things must be pretty bad for them if this is their best shot. I don't know which of their minions thought this was a good idea.

The gay marriage ad is currently a draft and has not been commissioned to run in any publication.

As if we haven't had a constant stream of 'dirty tricks campaign' from all the parties in the wedding party for the last 4 years.

Regardless of being invited, he'd show up and he'd make sure he was in the front row. He'd probably wear a luminous pink suit, the pink tie looks far too understated for him.

There isn't yet any proof that this is a real poster, or anything beyond the fevered imagination of an Independent 'journalist'.

The Indo is an attack dog for FG (despite the weekday editors wife's political persuasions), and anything which threatens the potential of an FG lead government will be attacked. They had delusional dreams of an FG overall majority on the front page a few weeks ago; Labour on 10% would ensure that isn't possible so expect a full week of stuff dragged up or outright invented.
