You need to have had an account on December 20th, and not have bought any gift cards over the past two years to maybe qualify. (link tells you if so)
    Terms:
In order to qualify for the £7 promotional code, you must: (1) have held an Amazon.co.uk account as of 20 December, 2015 and not have purchased any GCs in the 24 months prior to that date; (2) click the button 'Click to qualify for the promotion code'; and (3) purchase at least £30 of GCs in a single order at Amazon.co.uk between 3 January, 2016 and 27 February, 2016, 11:59PM (GMT).

I got offered this on my amazon account just before Christmas. Was very handy as I was just about to order £27 worth of stuff, so i saved the stuff for later, bought the £30 gift card for myself (delivery via email code) then used the code to buy the items I had saved. Couple of days later I received the free £7 code, which I used the other day :)

    Quick Q Biyz -

So I buy my £30 gift card - get it that day by email.
Then I receive £7 free credit by email 2 days later.

So can I then combine them both and take £37 off my order I will be placing afterwards?

    Thanks :)

"The £7 promotional code can be spent on products sold by Amazon on Amazon.co.uk"

So im assuming this means it cant be used against the majority of things on Amazon?... clothing etc

It says Im accepted into the offer. When i click email gift card and select 30 it still just shows 30. Does it not show the extra 7 euro that will be applied later?

This is valid again as from 20 March to 14 May, if you have not claimed in the last 2 years...£7 voucher e-mailed within 48 hours of purchasing a £30 gift card.

Terms and Conditions of the Promotion
Receive a £7 promotional code for a future Amazon.co.uk retail order when you purchase at least £30 in Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers ("GCs") in a single order on Amazon.co.uk by 14 May, 2016 ("Offer"). In order to qualify for the £7 promotional code, you must: (1) have held an Amazon.co.uk account as of 16 March, 2016 and not have purchased any GCs in the 24 months prior to that date; (2) click the button 'Click to qualify for the promotion code'; and (3) purchase at least £30 of GCs in a single order at Amazon.co.uk between 20 March, 2016 and 14 May, 2016, 11:59PM (BST).
Purchases must be for at least £30 in combined GC value, and the GCs must be purchased in a single order at Amazon.co.uk.
Offer valid on GCs purchased on Amazon.co.uk between 20 March, 2016 and 14 May, 2016, 11:59PM (BST) and, in the case of e-mail GCs scheduled in advance, delivered before 15 May, 2016.
For qualifying purchases, a promotional code of £7 ("Promo Code") will be sent by e-mail within 48 hours of your gift card order being dispatched, to the e-mail address associated with the Amazon.co.uk account used to purchase the GCs, and the Promo Code is valid until 30 June, 2016, 11:59PM (BST).
One Promo Code per customer/primary e-mail address.
The Promo Code must be redeemed at our website, towards the purchase of products listed in Amazon.co.uk's online catalogue sold by Amazon. Promotional Codes Terms & Conditions apply.
The Promo Code may not be combined with any other promotional offer. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the Offer at any time. The Promo Code is void if copied or transferred and where prohibited by law. Any other use constitutes fraud.
In the event of a return, promotional savings may be deducted from your refund.
Amazon may change or withdraw this promotion at any time.
GCs may be redeemed on the Amazon.co.uk website towards the purchase of eligible products listed in our online catalogue and sold by Amazon.co.uk or any other seller selling through Amazon.co.uk. GCs cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account. Amazon.co.uk is not responsible if a GC is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. For complete terms and conditions, see www.amazon.co.uk/gc-legal. GCs are issued by Amazon EU S.à.r.l. Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 249 ✭✭student7890

Hm, perhaps I did this incorrectly as I availed of the £7 bonus credit when buying the £30 gift card but when I came to spend the free credit it could only be applied to amazon prime offers.

I found amazon prime items were approx £5 more than other comparable/similar products... just my 10 cents

    Beam me up Scotty.

It's ok to use it as long it's Amazon seller and not third party

I got mine today exactly 24 hours later (though terms state 48 this time) and that was on a new account I had opened a few weeks back.

I only made an order last week. Didn't think i would be shopping again so I didn't claim this offer.

What do i do? Go shopping again this weekend (without my free £7 pounds gift card). But this time, I bought a gift card worth £30 to pay for my items, so this should work for whatever I decide to buy next week.

Yep, buy gift card for yourself, get free 7 quid, then spend them. Really easy!

Got the £7 credit via email 24hrs after buying the gift card. Done this on a secondary Amazon account as I've already used a similar offer on my primary account.
A word of advice, I had opened the account specifically to take advantage of similar gift card promotion a while back and was getting an "ineligible" message when checking through the link. I'm guessing its because it had been opened for too short of a time or didnt have any orders done through it.

The account needs to have been opened since 20 Dec 2015,its in the OP

i'm mistaken, the latest Amazon offer required you to have an account opened since 16 March, but you are ineligible if you have purchased gift cards within the last the last 2 years
