    Hi all,
I currently use a 25mm setback carbon seatpost.I suffer with a lower back issue,(injury plus age). I am thinking of changing to an In-line carbon post.My stem is short enough (100mm). I wonder if my position over the pedals was more forward, would or could it help lessen my back ache? If so, any suggestions as to which post to choose?

    Thanks,
    TombstoneT.

Carbon is a good choice as inline seatposts loose the ability to absorb road surface "noise". Maybe Canyon VCLS ?

The Canyon ones are quite good but unavailable until they get their site sorted. There are none in their seatpost section.

Their VCLS 2.0 was made in conjunction with Ergon though and is available Not cheap though! I think Canyon were doing it for about 199

There are plenty of other out there though, for example Rose and CRC
