    Hello,

I was just wondering does anyone know how to clean a granite patio. I have used chloros on it to remove green on it but it still look dirty and there are what look like rust marks on it. Not sure how they got there.

When it was layed first there was a hcl based cleaner used and it cleaned it up brilliant. This was done after it was in place over a winter period.

    Anyone know any such products.

    Thanks

The HCL product may have actually damaged the granite as HCL is Hydrochloric Acid and depending on the quality of the granite and the degree of polish further use my just very finely pit the surface further as the HCL disclose more of the softer material such as calcite in poorer quality stone.
The rust may be from traces of ferrous oxide in the stone or from something g like a nail that was left on it.
Difficult to get out except by some localised fine polishing which will create a hollow
