    Hi all,

Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice and comments over the past 12 months.

We're back farming at home again after 10 years and various questions and queries I've had have been answered on this forum.

There's nearly always interesting threads and opinions too, so thanks for that as well.

I used to comment on the likes of Broadsheet and The Journal, as well as some other forums here on Boards. Some of the other posters in those places were helpful, some were downright ignorant gob****es. But I have never seen the like of this forum for positive, helpful advice and comments. There's a great vibe on here and it's often lifted my spirits - I'm in danger now of starting to believe that farming is really a different type of community.

    Thanks for that!

Hopefully, I'll be able to answer more than I ask this year. Looking forward to it.

    Cheers folks.

I found this a great forum of information and entertainment as well even if some lads don't know what a pike is for and we might not always agree
It's a great place to learn new things and share ideas.
Happy new year one and all.

As far as I know a pike is a predatory fish found in most lakes and river in Europe.
