This is a phenomenon I'm curious about. Someone whos family name uses one prefix but they switch to another, Séamus Mac Grianna going to his pen name Séamus Ó Grianna would be an example. Has anyone changed their name in this manner or do they know anyone who has? Technically Ó would be more correct for everyone would it…
