Just bought this tv from powercity. I'd be fairly tech savvy but haven't bought a tv in years and to be honest wasn't bothered doing a lot of research behind it. I liked the look of it and figured because it was a Samsung and wasn't cheap that it'd be decent enough.

I'm happy with everything apart from some really bad ghosting when watching football. I watch a fair bit of football so it's a big problem for me. I hadn't even considered ghosting would still be a problem on these modern tv's, it was something I'd have considered when buying my first HDTV 10 years ago. I've done some reading on it and there are some settings on the tv for getting rid of motion blur, but nothing to my satisfaction. The only thing that gets rid of the ghosting on the ball is some backlight setting that makes the rest of the picture look awful.

Is this a common problem with these tv's or have I been sold a dud? Can't seem to find many people with the same complaint from doing a quick google.

IMO its too early to buy 4K TVs, 1080p panels with better motion resolution & motion handing are better viewing experience than these 1st gen 4K TVs.

I watch most of my sport online through a browser, the site I use would have various streams for the same game. On one stream the stuttering would be very bad, on another it would be barely noticeable. It's coming from the same source supposedly at the same resolution, with two different outcomes. Any idea why this would be? The streams obviously aren't the exact same, maybe the frame rate is different? If I knew why one worked better than the other I might be able to avoid the issue.
