I was looking for Castrol Edge 5W30 5 Litre bottles as opposed to the 4L which is standard over here and too small for most cars.

€32.89 plus postage making it approx €48.

Its available on the UK site as well and comes in a few euro cheaper using Revolut. Depends which card you want to use.

Its only e45 euro in my local motor factor in mayo for 5 litres. Its the vw spec 504.00 507.00.

Its the same oil that brake and clutch are selling. They are doing the same 4 litres +1 free. I got it from clearys motor factors in kiltimagh

Its a great price with free delivery as well.

I'm due a service in a few weeks so need to start getting parts together.

Ah grand, i was confused about why you would refer to one particular manufacturers spec rather than the actual oil you bought. Just sounded to me like you bought another brand that just happened to tick the box you wanted it to tick.

I had no problems with the German sellers sending oil.
