Does the word count in the geography matter that much???
The space given is far too big to just have 1000 words..effectively its 1000 on 9 pages which is only just over 100 per page....which if you were to use every line is roughly 3 words...being worth 20% of a grade, surely it cant look that weak and lacking of information?:(

There was a thread titled " Geography Fieldwork Booklet Word Count " in 2014 with some useful comments. I can't post the link.

Most people I knew threw down an approximate number of around 1000.

Most importantly check your project when viewing your scripts. I viewed mine several years ago and discovered there was zero logic in the marking in my paper. There was a few ticks on the first page and literally a handful for the rest of the booklet. I got something ridiculous like 60/70 in the booklet( my main paper was like literally 92/93% maybe higher). So the project which brings every up. Brought me totally down. I got it rechecked and got my A1 anyway
