    12.35 punchestown

I'm currently watching sir abbot run a shocker in a handicap chase, just pulled up actually, owned by jp mc manus, this may not be one of those horses that win a nice handicap down the line but he prob will be considering he was a decent hurdler, my question is how do the trainers manage to get the horses to run so badly and produce then a month or 2 later to win easily

    Lingfield 1.00
Lady Lloyd is a horse I've followed, has been unlucky racing wide a number of times and still finishing close to the winner, stall 1 and 7 pound claimer up, must go close

They tell the horse that the owner is about to put a large wedge down on the heretofore coughing/post race abnormal/wheezing/ground dependent/ridden differently /held up/absent headgear or any number of lame excuses and boom, it romps home :) .

Didn't run it's race, the eventual winner cut him off early on and he was being pushed along ever since.
Very rough race riding this winter at the all weather tracks

More Tony/JP filth, I've been watching Noble Emperor since it was a bumper horse. Always said there is a decent horse there that has being held back on several occasions.

Nice performance from Best Kept Secret there. The listing might say it's Aidan OBrien trained, but I bet it's Joseph really at the helm. I reckon Joseph is going to come good as a trainer and that'll he'll clean up thanks to the ammunition that Coolmore will be able to provide.

I like this, consistent and went close last time.
