    Hi guys,

Not sure if correct place to post so Im sorry if Im in the wrong section.

I recently purchased a second hand Hyundai Santa Fe and only have been given a standard key with the car, but the owner said he previously had an electronic key but lost it some years back.

Is it possible to get one of these electronic keys replaced and if so how much usually would they set me back as I imagine they are expensive?

    thanks

place in Blackpool shopping centre Cork, key fast, also in Dublin, I got mine done a few months ago,not sure how,but think it works out less than e100,coded key, opens the car, starts ignition, disables etc ,but dissent remote open and close, took 35/45 minutes, works a great,2010 Honda insight hybrid

Not sure what you mean by electronic key? All Santa fe's would have an immobiliser so all keys would would be 'electric', do you mean remote central locking ? A lot of the S/Fe's came with a separate fob for the central locking, depending on the year of your jeep. If this is what you need to goto a dealer, those fobs would be about €100 + coding + vat!

Far as I remember, they used a standard key and a separate remote fob.
