in november 2016 an International Mitochondrial patient organisation is coming to ireland to run a seminar/conference in dublin.
as the founder of the steering committee i am seeking out undergraduates or other in science or medicine who can add their weight behind the committee and help organise it with us patients here in ireland.

many are too sick to do much if you look at mito disease it is an energy depletion disease.
but certainly some nice healthy students with good enthusiasm and engery would be welcome from the universities in and around dublin.
maybe some of you would love to learn more about even the genetics, the disease and advance experience in a field you may become interested in.
do make contact if you are willing to lean a hand.
i want it to be a major event in dublin.

it is a rare disease therefore to start awareness is a major coup for the small numbers in ireland who have mito disease.
it is the biggest childhood killer than all the cancers combined.
    this is fact
because its a genetic condition usually inherited but not always.
    thank you
