    Hi,

If you are registered as a sole trader, is there any point/advantage in opening an AIB business account? Or can you just have a regular one or even keep your current account?

Having a regular account is fine its essentially just a current account with your name t/a trading name. Makes things a lot clearer than trying to run it from the same account as your personal expenses! You should get the first year or two free too which is nice. The business account is pretty expensive and you can always switch to that in the future in the business demands it.

So if you don't have a trading name you can open a regular current account and there's no difference with the business acct. okay.
