portable dvd player or alternative for car

    Hi All,
    As the title suggests, I need a portable DVD player or media player for the car to entertain junior on long trips. I know portable DVD players are readily available but maybe there is a USB or sd card media player alternative.
    I know I could just get a tablet but I just want a dedicated video player for simplicity. Also if there any suggestions on converting DVD content to mp4 etc?
