Hi guys, I would be very grateful for any opinions

I am late 30s working in IT and with redundancy looming, I am looking to retrain for a career change. I am interested in a payroll/book-keeping position and to this end, I am thinking of doing a distance learning course with ipass - the 2 modules: "Certificate in Payroll Techniques" and "Diploma in Payroll Management". Would anyone know if I would have a good chance of getting employment in payroll with these qualifications? (I am prepared for a junior role).

The other option would be the Accounting Technician course with "Accounting Technicians Ireland". If anyone has done this course or gained employment from it, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks so much for any replies.
