    Hi guys was just wondering if anyone knows if clamping will be carried out on new years eve/day ?

    NY Eve isn't a holiday, so yes until 6:30pm.

    nyd is, so no.

    Except on private land, it can be yes all the time.

    I'm open to correction, but I don't think clamping has been carried out on behalf of the council for a few years now. The decision was made to discontinue clamping and issue parking tickets only. Again, that does not apply to privately operated car parks/areas.
