Anyone know what the roads are like Sligo, considering a trip this weekend and don't want to get stuck in traffic

yeah should be ok unless you're surfing up north sligo on the reefs etc. access to strandhill is fine from all directions.

Thanks for replies, only bank for hols and forecast as changed slightly, so may just settle for something closer to home

If you're heading for Clare avoid the short cut through Gort,Lough Bunny,Corofin it's impassable.
