For only one particular address an email arrives in my inbox, when I read it, it goes to archive. How is this? I have to search All Mail to find it again.

I've checked in Settings, Labels, Filters, Forwarding, Labs - Smart Labels, all to no avail, none of them are enabled or his address is never listed.

Is it something he chose at his end? That wouldn't seem right.
