Anybody know what the story is with this? The number for the Cork St. Intreo Centre is not working. Says "number not recognised". Which, if you've dealt with them much, is not really surprising. Making themselves hard to contact seems to be part of their job but I can't find an alternative number anywhere. Anybody know what the story is? I can't physically get there today so any help appreciated.

Number not recognised generally means your ringing the wrong number.
Or possibly the phone lines are down due to the storm.

Thanks, but its the number from their website and I've entered it correctly. And, as far as I know, there are no phone lines down in dublin due to storm conditions.

Did you get through in the end? Would you believe I tried ringing it a few times and it was ringing engaged.

Nope. Number not recognized. Tried from mobile and landline. Seems they've disconnected their number without warning or any alternative option. Seems mad but in my experience of dealing with the Social Welfare nothing would surprise me.

Physically dropped into Cork Street Intreo today and apparently the phone lines have been down for a couple of days. They reported it to their phone provider. Not much use to anybody trying to contact them.

They could have put a notice up on their website. I couldn't get there yesterday. Was able to today.
