CWI Calves

I have had forty calves born this season so far. Mainly blues with an odd ai part and lim thrown in to breed replacement heifers.
I used CWI for a few of these. They are good calves, BUT, I have had four CWI calves and they have all had scour. Two of them were in a pen with four other calves and they were the only two to get it. The other two were the only calves in a pen to get it.
Am I horsing or are his calves susceptible to scour more so than other bulls? Is this a coincidence or can it happen with a particular bull because it is the only variable I can see?

You are not horsing. I heard recently that cattle from certain bulls are more likely to get tb, so I reckon it is possible some can get more scour too, I reckon we'll know more if we (ever) get genomic results.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
