Bluetooth headphones for watching video on laptop and iPad - audio sync an issue

    Hi,

I was looking for a set of Bluetooth headphones for watching videos on the laptop/iPad. I don't need anything especially expensive as I'd only be using them occasionally. Based on decent reviews and and featuring in a few end-of-year lists I bought a pair of Avantek Audiomax HB-8A

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ZWNYF7E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_bLVGwb59S2J1R

When I received them I found them to be a really nicely made pair of headphones, the sound quality was good but when watching video on either a laptop or iPad the audio goes slightly out of sync. From looking around that seems to be an issue with some Bluetooth headphones so I'm hoping someone can suggest a pair which, from experience, don't suffer from audio sync issues when connected via Bluetooth.

Ideally they won't cost much more than what was paid for the other pair (£45) but I'm open to suggestions.

    Cheers.

I believe the Bluetooth standard Apt-X was designed to remove any noticeable sync issues. Looks like the headphones support this already so check if your laptop and iPad are also compatible.
