New years eve in waterford

I've been away for the past few NYE nights but will be around on thursday. Some friends and I are trying to figure out is there much happening, we'd be a little past the night club scene, I wonder is there much on in pubs etc & any chance of a few fireworks?!! ;-)

I'd love to know what's going on around tonight too. Nothing coming up when I google New Year's Eve in Waterford at all!
