Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Sony Bravia - horizontal lines on screen, repair?

    We have a Sony bravia, bought in 2011 that has now got a small horizontal line, top right corner, not across the whole screen but enough to make it irritating to watch. It's out of warranty, and rather than buy another I'm thinking about repair, does anyone know if it's worth it?

    I have one as well its starting to switch itself off when watching apps eg you tube and another one or two little niggles. Mine came with 5 year guarantee did yours? You might just still be covered.... Was looking for my receipt today no luck ... It's around 5 years old too ..... Might be worth checking

    1 year guarante, as long as we only ever watch letterbox format we'll be grand!
