    Hi guys,

One of my Polish friends finished basic vocational school in Poland (level 4) few years ago and he's looking now to go to college. The problem is, in Poland you cannot go to college if you finish basic vocational school, you have to go to ordinary high school to obtain a proper leaving cert that will let u go to college.

According to QQI website tho his qualifications are recognised as Irish leaving cert (link attached), does this mean that he can go to college in Ireland without any issues? Are we missing something?

It looks like it's recognised as a Level 4. An Honours LC would be Level 5. He may be able to take the PLC route into college.
You'd have to consult the individual colleges and courses.
