Fighter of the Year - Has to be Conor McGregor.

Female Fighter of the Year - Holly Holm. Joanna probably more impressive but have to pick Holly coz of the Ronda factor.

Breakthrough Fighter of the Year - Max Holloway. Probably not really "breakthrough" but I feel he really stepped up a notch this year and put himself right in the top 5 in the division.

International Fighter of the Year - Probably McGregor but will go with Overeem just to spread it out. Two very impressive performances against Nelson and Junior.

Fight of the Year - Easily Lawler v McDonald. Arlovski v Browne second.

Knockout of the Year - McGregor vs Aldo for the sheer drama and shock of it. And the technical skill involved. Everything about it was jaw dropping. A famous moment in the history of MMA.

Submission of the Year - ill go with Werdums guillotine on Cain, again, because of the drama of it. I didn't see anyone beating Cain. Granted he partly beat himself but Werdum took advantage.

Comeback of the Year - Dalby vs Till. Dominated for two rounds and came back with a 10-8 in the third to get a draw. Great fight.

Coach of the Year - John Kavanagh. Just watching his advice between rounds and from cageside he really is excellent. Cool and collected. The On the Brink episode for the Mendes fight gave great insight into his attitude. Never shouting for the sake of it.

Gym of the Year - AKA. Two champions and in my opinion another one to come when Cain rematches Werdum. Although Cormier will lose to Jones.

Trainer of the Year - can't say I know that much about the trainers.

Referee of the Year - always a fan of Herb Dean.

Ring Girl of the Year - Brittany Palmer. Arianny close second. Preferably both.

What is the difference in coach and trainer? Is Mendes not head coach?

Mendez is both but gyms would have multiple trainers. That was my gathering anyway and AKA have 3 champs crowned this year

Yeah basically Mendez would be both along with the likes of Faber, Greg Jackson, Wink etc I would have have Mendez both accolades but Kavanagh was a close second for coach of the year imo so I gave it to him. JK as coach Roddy as trainer for example.

Cormier, Rockhold and ? Cain? Would it be pedantic of me to say he wasn't crowned this year?

Liam Mcgeary Bellator LHW champ won it initially back in February this year

Actually would've been most likely of all their current belt holders I'd say

If he beats Davis then he should take a shot in the UFC, his fights are entertaining.

Totally, he's 33 though a fight with Glover or OSP in the future would be ideal

Yeah he only went pro in 2010 very late starter especially by European standards! He'd do decent in the ufc imo two fights I would make myself would show what level he's at right now.
