Help with a small claim

Hi! I submitted an application to small claims court about 2 months ago against a garage and last week I got a letter from the court saying the garage could not be found and they did not collect the letter. I went to the garage today and seems like they just closed completely. They were trading under this name since last year december but their parent business has been around for about 20. Is there anything I can do? Can I submit an application against their parent business?

Try search for the company on Solocheck.ie to see what the status of the business is.

This will really depend on the relationship between the entities. If your contract was with a subsidiary limited company, then the parent business might be able to escape responsibility.
