Hi. Is there any way of getting a 7 day EPG for UK channels on a Sab Titan 3 Turbo box?
I have 7 day on the Irish channels but only "now and next" on the UK guide.
I would even be happy to drop the Irish EPG for a UK one if there is some way of doing this as my TV has built in Saorview.
    Thanks.

    Turbo ?

Could be wrong ( would not be the first time ) but I dont think the titan 3 is enigma2

Most enigma2 ( linux boxes ) use a plugin called crossepg tht runs the 7 day epg
some other models like the amiko alien 2 running spark operating sys can also use cross epg

Post =31 indicates that this is same as amiko alien 2 and may be possible to have enigma2 on it

According to the Freetv site it's now/next only on satellite. This is common for budget combo boxes.

The Sab Triple is a more advanced box than the Titan.

We will have to wait for the op to clear up the turbo bit could it be a cross between a titan & a triple :-) but point taken

Sincere apologies, it is a Titan 3 Combo HD.
As a result, I reckon is isn't enigma 2 compatible.
Could I restore factory settings and then set it up as a UK box by choosing a region setting? I wouldn't mind losing the Irish EPG if I have to. Thanks and apologies again.

I dont think setting it up as a uk box would help unless you were in an area that you could receive freeview the uk terrestial signal to get a more detailed guide for terrestial

the sat stations you are recieving are from the astra 28.2 sat and the guide is transmitted by sat also

The limitation is the firmware is not designed to save and display the guide for the sat stations and again I could be wrong
but cross epg downloads up to 14 mb a time when it updates every couple of days and this can clog up the internal memory and cause issues
    hope this helps :-)

It uses an ALI 3516 chipset.

The software is closed source. It does not do 7 day epg grabbing same from one of the data transponders on 28.2E, so it is restricted to now/next data on sat.

i have some of these boxes and i find the epg doesn't update at all on satellite, if i press ok for epg etc it shows what was on 3 hours ago, ifv i move to a different channel it will show now/next for that channel but all others are old programmes that have already finished.

In my experience, I found that I had to go to Saorview first and it updated the clock and then switch to a sat channel to get the now and next to work.
