Strange fault with Astra

    My mates 2003 1.7 dti astra last week encountered a weird problem,
    when you put key in ignition the passenger side window goes down, you can put it up using the remote button on door but once up the remote button will not work again, it wont go up or down, this happens all the time now

    I would check the driver's switch for a short to begin with.

    passenger side window switch wont work either, only work to put window up the once,
