Vodafone ethernet connection asking for 802.1x password

    Hi guys, nevermind, I found a setting checked in network connection > edit Ethernet connection > 802.1x security tab, and unchecked the box
    I'll leave problem below for future searches :)

    trying to download Broforce through Steam on my mams Dell Inspiron running Mint, to speed up the download I connected the laptop up with a lan cable directly to the router (vodafone HG658c) and got this confounded thing:

    I tried vodafone as the password but no luck, why is it even prompting me?
