Went with Clutch, pure toss up between that and Steven Wilson.

Went with the Boats of Glen Carrig. I loved Hand.Cannot.Erase as well, but just found myself going to Ahab's new album that bit more later in the year.

    Both fantastic releases though.

Steven Wilson for me ... no contest.

    Voted for Steven Wilson.

Genuinely can't decide between that and Ahab, but SW looks like it has the better chance of winning :pac:

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I think its clear SW will run away with it.
Went for Tribulation as its higher on my own Top 10 than SW

There's still plenty of time for the vote to shift. ;) Surprised Paradise Lost's The Plague Within hasn't gotten more votes as it was one of the most nominated.

I loved Hand.Cannot.Erase not as much as The Raven tho, it picked up a lot in the nominations too. There were so many great releases this year.

I certainly am going, looking forward to it!

Certainly worthy winner, top notch album. Routine is such a good song, the centrepiece of the album. The heavy breakdown in Ancestral is class too, particular highlights in the album.

    Definitely. It's an outstanding track.

Haven't given Slayer's Repentless a gander yet. Was expecting Faith No More or Paradise Lost to get more votes tbh.

A worthy winner. Fantastic album as usual. And the live show is superb too if you get a chance to see it.
