Wonderful film about "girls" orchestra in Florida. Jack Lemmon & Tony Curtis playing "lady" orchestra members while Marilyn Monroe is Sugar......everyone should watch it......

The only thing I could see anti-PC would be men dressing up as women?

Great movie. I try watch it once per year.

Well on one hand it's got slight echoes of this recent court case, albeit the opposite - a man pretending to be a woman's female best friend when in fact he wants to be her lover.

On the other hand, the fantastic last line "Well, nobody's perfect" champions inclusivity, and love triumphing over gender norms.

But ffs it's a comedy film, who the hell cares whether it's PC!

Sweet Sue and her Society Syncopators.

I loved when choosing their lady names, Joe goes for Josephine, but Gerry thinks for a bit and chooses Daphne. Jack Lemmon is fantastic in it.

It never gets old - we wuz at Rigoletto's with him!

For its time it must have been quite shocking, especially the last scene.

It probably isn't PC but the history of cinema and other media cannot and should not be filtered and revised for today's weak minds. That would set a dangerous precedent.

    ^.

Spot on. It's of its time like everything. Being offended and outraged by something is every mûp**** wañkbags favourite hobby in this day and age. Those people don't count however. I can't even remember anything controversial about it.... I just know it's probably the finest comedy film ever..... Close second for me is the original Producers... Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder..... Genius.
