I got 3 text messages from the NCT informing me that my NCT was due to expire in March 2017, just wondering if anyone else got 1, seems a bit odd so I figure it's a glitch of some sort

I got one of those messages a few weeks ago. My NCT is not due until January 2017.

One is normal. 3 is probably a network error.

I think they're a great idea. I presume they send them again closer to the NCT expiry date.

It's a great idea and when I got it I was going to book in straight away as I just got the car serviced, guess they won't test it 15 months in advance :)
